HOW TO CREATE GRID POINTS ELEVATION IN CIVIL 3D.
We know that grids elevation is essential for civil surveying, mining surveying, etc and it is used for
• Initial survey or original ground level survey for cutting and filling work.
• Post level or final level survey for computation of volume.
• Drawing the cross-section of the working project.
• Drawing the contour line to study the nature of the area.
There are two steps are for creating grid points surface elevation on grid points
1. create a tin surface
2. create a grid point elevation from the surface
1. create a tin surface Open a new drawing sheet in Autocad Civil 3D. In the tool, space panel go to the prospector tab and right-click surface. After the right-click surface tab an open a dialog box CREATE SURFACE. In the dialog box changed the type, surface layer, and properties as per requirement.
In the information, I changed the surface name as a surface 1. In the prospector, a surface also automatically creates after change the name of the surface of the property.
Select the file then OK .zoom in the window then created the surface shown.
