INTRODUCTION
The cross sectional leveling is done to know the nature of ground across the centre line of any alignment
PROCEDURE: It has been done in four steps.

Create 3D surface

Create samples lines

Create section views
- Create 3D surface

- Create samples lines

Create 3D surface:- The 3D surface is made from the data taken by survey instrument into the survey field in the form of XYZor PNEZ or PENZ coordinate format.
- Create 3D surface:- The 3D surface is made from the data taken by survey instrument into the survey field in the form of XYZor PNEZ or PENZ coordinate format.

Create Alignment:- For create alignment first draw a Polyline along the centre line.
- Create Alignment:- For create alignment first draw a Polyline along the centre line.
Go to home ribbon of civil 3d > Alignment> left click>select create alignment from a polyline.
Select polyline> enter> write R> create alignment from object> OK

Create samples lines:-Go to home ribbon of civil 3d>Sections> Left click> create sample lines.
- Create samples lines:-Go to home ribbon of civil 3d>Sections> Left click> create sample lines.
Select alignment > open sample line group dialog box> select surface> OK .
In sample line tools> sample line creation method> select by range of stations.
In by range of stations dialog box > you can change >start station> end station .
In left swath width > select the left side of the alignment.
In Right swath width > select right side of alignment.
In Sampling increments> you can change distance> OK> enter

Create section views:-Go to home ribbon of civil 3d> Sections> left
- Create section views:-Go to home ribbon of civil 3d> Sections> left
click>select create multiple section views
Open a create multiple sections views dialog box > next > create section views.
