Google Earth is a computer program that renders a 3D representations of the earth in primarily on SATELITE imagery. Google Earth has xyz Cordinates of the earth in the form of WGS84 co-ordinate system.
This image is also can be used in GIS work.
For the extraction of co-ordinates open the google earth program in the computer and search the place Whose co-ordinates have to be found.
Open the Google Earth Search the place whose coordinates to be extracted.
Create a path by holding down the mouse left click button.
The more points will be made in the path, the more co-ordinates will be created.
Save as the kml file.
Search GPS Visualizer in the google .One visualizer page will open.
Click on the look up elevations in the GPS visulizer and select the kml file there place and also select convert and add elevations.
There are two option in the output file. One is GPX file and other plain text.
