How To Calculate Volume Of The Strata From Boreholes in AutoCAD Civil 3D.

 The calculation of  volume of  the strata Is a difficult  task in AutoCAD civil 3D,But it is possible extension of Geotechnical Modeler in the Civil 3d.

Boreholes Strata

After Draw Boreholes Create Top Surface and Stratum Surface.

After Create  Both  Surface 

Go To Tool space panel.

                                  Surface>Right Click> Create Surface

A Create Surface dialogue box is open 

                                           Select The Type- Tin Volume Surface

                                          Write The name of surface

                                         

                                            

The volume of the strata is to be extracted, the strata surface above and below it is to be selected as the base and compression surface. Then OK.

                                          

Then go to Analyze Tab ,Click on Volume Dashboard.
